OUR EXCHANGE & BUYBACK POLICY

Get 100% gold appreciation and protect the value of diamonds and gemstones.

When you choose to exchange or sell your AMARIS jewellery, your gold value moves with the prevailing market rate. Your diamonds and gemstones also receive protection for a portion of their original value. Together, this gives your jewellery a more transparent value over time.

Gold value appreciates: Any appreciation in the gold component of your jewellery is passed through to you.
Value is protected: Your original invoice value receives a defined Value Benefit for diamonds and gemstones.
Value Benefit: When you exchange or sell, you receive the applicable Value Benefit, plus any appreciation in your gold value.

HOW EXCHANGE WORKS

Original Invoice Value × Applicable Exchange Slab + Gold Appreciation

We apply the applicable slab to your original invoice value. Any appreciation in the gold component, based on the prevailing gold rate, is passed through to you in full.

Diamond Jewellery

Exchange: 90% of original invoice value + 100% gold appreciation.
Buyback: 80% of original invoice value + 100% gold appreciation.

Polki Jewellery

Exchange: 80% of original invoice value + 100% gold appreciation.
Buyback: 70% of original invoice value + 100% gold appreciation.

Applicable GST will be deducted.

Quality & Authenticity Assessment

All buyback and exchange requests are subject to a detailed quality and authenticity assessment at the AMARIS Atelier before the final value is confirmed.

Jewels will be inspected for originality, stone identity and breakdown, diamond and gemstone characteristics, gold purity, condition, and any signs of alteration, replacement or modification.

SOLITAIRES

Solitaires will be valued at prevailing Rapaport Report rates, less the discount applied at the time of original purchase.

All buyback and exchange requests for solitaires are subject to the availability of a buyer and are not guaranteed.

Bands will be valued separately as diamond jewellery and similar exchange and buyback options will be applicable.

Processing Timeline

Given that solitaire transactions are subject to buyer availability, processing timelines may exceed the standard 30 to 45 working days. AMARIS will endeavour to complete all requests at the earliest and will keep the customer informed of progress.

All buyback, cashback and exchange requests are subject to the quality and authenticity assessment at the AMARIS Atelier described above before the final value is confirmed.

GOLD EXCHANGE: JEWELS FROM OTHER JEWELLERS

On exchange, AMARIS will offer 100% of the prevailing gold rate for the gold component of jewels purchased from other jewellers.

Diamonds, gemstones and any components other than gold will be returned to the client as they are and will not form part of the gold exchange value.

Required for the transaction: A valid PAN Card for Indians or Passport for foreign nationals.

A proper evaluation of the quality and quantity will be conducted at the workshop. All jewellery must be photographed and shared by the client with the store team before handover.

WARRANTY

Every AMARIS piece is crafted to be treasured. Our 6-month warranty covers manufacturing and workmanship defects, subject to inspection and verification.

Normal wear and tear
Accidental damage
Mishandling or improper care
Repairs or alterations carried out outside AMARIS
Loss of jewellery or stones
Damage caused by external factors or normal deterioration

Where a manufacturing defect is established, AMARIS will endeavour to repair the jewellery or provide an appropriate resolution following inspection.

Warranty period: 6 months from the date of purchase.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Original purchase invoice and applicable certification must be produced for exchange or buyback.
Jewellery must be presented in acceptable original condition, subject to Amaris Jewels' verification.
The policy is subject to verification of the jewellery and applicable internal terms at the time of exchange or buyback.
GST and any other applicable statutory charges will be treated as per applicable law.
